In case you are not familiar with the term "underpinnings," basically underpinnings are ladies' underwear or undergarments. During the 1800's, ladies did wear numerous layers.
First there was your CHEMISE, then your PANTALETTES, next your CORSET, then your CORDED SKIRT, HOOP SKIRT or "HOOPTIE MOBILE" as I call it, just a little 1800's humor!
Then finally there was your MODESTY SLIP and STOCKINGS. Here are some examples of what I am making in this area. You can select from different lace trims for your underpinnings. Also, if you would like your initials applicaded on your garments, let me know. Each of these beautiful items can be customized JUST FOR YOU.
